Introducing the Adobe Qualified: Analytics Data Analyst credential

Adobe Digital Learning Services (ADLS) is excited to announce the Adobe Qualified: Analytics Data Analyst credential — designed for data analysts who are responsible for creating reports and visualizations that drive effective decision-making with Adobe Analytics. This is the second credential available in the customer-facing Adobe Qualified Credential program.

What is the Adobe Qualified Credential Program?

The program is built specifically for business end users and marketers who use Adobe solutions day to day. Along with job experience and a recommended learning path, those who take and pass the exam will receive a credential and badge. Earning a credential provides confidence in training value received, validation of skills and knowledge, and realization of ultimate value from Adobe solutions.

How are Analytics Champions reacting to this credential?

As a crucial part of the credentialing program launch, the Adobe Analytics Champion community partnered with Adobe Digital Learning Services in providing feedback on the credentialing program blueprint and encouraging users to participate in the credential beta exam. The Analytics Champion group consists of customers and partners from across the globe — representing some of Adobe’s most passionate and knowledgeable Analytics users.

When asked what excited them about the launch of the Analytics Data Analyst credential, and what value they believe will come from this credential, here’s what some of these Champion leaders had to say:

“I’m excited about this because it’s geared toward everyday users of Adobe Analytics, making it suitable for a wider audience. Most of the certification exams require a much higher level of analytics knowledge than what your average user has, making them unobtainable. Having this Adobe Qualified Credential can help users trying to advance their careers. There are so few accessible opportunities for learning Adobe Analytics other than on-the-job learning, and this is starting to fill the gap of getting more users certified with Adobe Analytics.

Most of the analysts that I work with daily don’t use any of the admin features, but they are in the tool day in and day out working on reporting, building metrics and segments, using visualizations, and more. Paired with the new credential, that could help a lot of people grow their careers, and potentially encourage more companies to adopt Adobe Analytics, knowing that they will be able to recruit skilled talent.”

Mandy George, Digital Analyst III, Best Buy Canada Ltd.

“My team supports hundreds of Adobe Analytics users globally. Adobe Analytics is powerful but also complicated. This credential has the potential to give our user base something to strive for to demonstrate their commitment and competence with Adobe Analytics. I also think the process of preparing for and passing the test will be great for professional development and career advancement. For me personally, the exam opened my eyes to some things that I would like to learn more about in Adobe Analytics.”

Russ Vander Wiel, Digital Marketing Analytics Director, 3M Enterprise Operations

“I’m excited for the more junior members of my team to get credentials. This program gives ‘non-expert’ data analysts a chance to get a credential and earn recognition internally and externally.”
