Making data and insights more accessible with generative AI
Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning have been around for years, and Adobe has been heavily invested in incorporating them into our feature set, through anomaly detection, intelligent alerts, and segment IQ to identify unique insights. It’s one of those things that every analyst and marketer expects in an analytics tool to help them find insights to do their job better.
Now, with generative AI, brands can use a more advanced version of machine learning and use natural language to get to those valuable insights more easily. Adobe has been a vanguard in generative AI with productive and responsible ways for brands to drive CXM decision-making — allowing anyone within an organization to ask their specific business questions without relying on a data science team or having to interpret all the vast amounts of data that an organization collects and throws into their data warehouse.
Adobe realizes that not everyone is a data scientist, and not all companies have a team of them to quickly answer omnichannel business questions.
Imagine trying to cook a four-course gourmet meal without a recipe or any cooking experience. It’s a difficult task — if not nearly impossible — without a top chef’s assistance. The ability to prepare a meal on your own, without relying on a chef, is more attainable if you’re given simple, step-by-step instructions that tell you what to do and which tools to use. That’s like our approach to data and insights. Our goal is to empower anyone to become a citizen data scientist without deep database and query expertise.
AI Assistant in Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, powered by generative AI, is now available in Customer Journey Analytics labs. Customers can ask questions, and it will generate outputs on the fly to answer natural language queries. Anyone can ask a business question like “What are my top 10 most visited pages?” or “Which products have the highest revenue?” AI Assistant in Customer Journey Analytics will generate answers instantly with insights and visualizations — across online and offline touchpoints. It’s like a waiter delivering the four-course meal right to you, without you having to cook at all.
