Setting the stage for scalable success.
Claudia Möller has spent over two decades designing for trade shows, conferences, and business expos. As head of design at Informa Markets in EMEA, she’s passionate about delivering vibrant, high-impact creative for every campaign.
Informa Markets connects buyers and sellers, helps businesses to innovate and grow, and supports the flow of trade across more than a dozen specialist international markets. Working across sectors as diverse as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, cruise, and interior design industries, Möller and her in-house design team help shape the visual identity for over 50 of Informa Markets’ events a year, ensuring each one stands out and drives meaningful connections. It’s a high-stakes environment, and increasing content demand meant that her design team was handed lots of last-minute requests and revisions, which ate into precious creative thinking time.
When Mark Walls, Informa Markets’ VP of creative solutions in EMEA, introduced Adobe Express, Möller helped integrate it into the team’s workflow, giving marketers the tools to create on-brand content quickly and freeing designers to focus on bolder, more strategic creative work.
“We were always looking for a platform that our marketers could easily adopt and that designers would be excited to use and collaborate through.”

Building unforgettable event journeys.
For Informa Markets, every event represents a chance to connect industries, spark conversation, and drive business growth. Visual branding plays a vital role in building recognition and trust before, during, and after the event.
Take Pharmapack, for example. The branding journey for Europe’s leading pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery event starts months in advance, with digital ads tailored to pharma professionals. Attendees encounter the brand again through immersive onsite signage and visuals, and after the show with recap emails and social content. Every step reinforces the event’s presence and purpose.
But fulfilling the growing volume of high-quality, on-brand assets was becoming increasingly difficult for Informa. Even smaller campaigns required dozens of materials, each needing manual edits and approvals from the design team, all under tight deadlines. Simple changes like resizing a banner often had to wait in the queue, stretching a quick amend into a multi-day turnaround.
With designers having limited time to slot in amends, marketers were at times unable to respond quickly to trends or audience needs. Finding a better system was a priority for the team.
“We were always looking for a platform that marketers could easily adopt and that designers would be excited to use and collaborate through,” says Walls.
A new model for collaboration.
The turning point came when Walls introduced Adobe Express and the idea of a template-based workflow that offered both speed and control, which aligned perfectly with a core Informa principle: “more freedom, fewer barriers.” Möller and her team adopted Adobe Express immediately. With branded templates and locked design elements, marketers could create assets without risking brand integrity while designers could focus on more strategic, high-impact work such as new event designs.
“Adobe Express has streamlined our workflow so much,” says Möller. “Templates mean fewer revisions for us and faster results for the marketing team. It’s great knowing that we’re helping them stay on brand while making the design process more collaborative and fun.”
Tasks like banner resizing or text updates — which could take up to two days due to the design team’s bandwidth — can now be completed by marketers themselves in under an hour. Marketers feel more empowered, and designers are no longer stuck in a cycle of edits. Indeed, the design team now spends 30–40% less time per campaign on routine work and more time shaping event identities, building deeper campaigns, and pushing creativity forward.

The right tools for the job.
Across Informa events, campaign timelines have accelerated. For example, at Pharmapack, Möller and her team created a variety of templates in Adobe Express that marketers could adapt for a variety of social media posts, formats, and styles. Marketers could quickly and easily modify creative content for channels, regions, and languages, while designers ensured brand consistency.
Instead of relying on designers for every edit, marketers can now update imagery, adjust event details, and customize messaging for different regions — all within brand guidelines. This shift has significantly streamlined the content creation process, reducing back-and-forth and accelerating delivery.
With that kind of speed and autonomy, marketing teams can reach more customers and amplify campaign impact without waiting on designer availability. Now, they can publish on-brand, same-day content in response to breaking industry news, reaching the right audiences at the right times.
For Möller, one of the most powerful outcomes has been how Adobe Express integrates with the tools her team already relies on. “We still design in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign,” she says. “But now we can bring those assets into Adobe Express and share them in a way that’s usable for everyone.”
“The collaboration between marketing and design has never been smoother. Adobe Express templates make life easier and help marketing teams create on-brand assets.”

A measurable impact across every touchpoint.
Informa Markets is seeing the benefits of this new creative model. Same-day publishing helps marketers respond to industry trends and real-time updates, keeping campaigns fresh and top of mind. With simplified sharing across internal teams and agencies, decentralized design is more consistent than ever.
Marketers can now make updates to banners using templates — cutting turnaround time from days to hours and saving 70% of the time on revisions and designs, without needing to wait for a designer to slot in small edits to their workload. By collaborating through shared creative tools that build trust and streamline workflows, marketing and design teams have reduced revision cycles and improved efficiency. This shift empowers designers to focus on high-impact, strategic creative work, rather than routine production tasks.
“The collaboration between marketing and design has never been smoother,” Möller says. “Adobe Express templates make life easier and help marketing teams create on-brand assets.”
Building on a strong foundation.
With a more agile workflow in place, Möller and her team plan to expand Adobe Express beyond social into event materials. The improved collaboration frees up design capacity for more strategic projects while giving marketers the tools they need to move faster — helping Informa Markets deliver consistent, high-quality campaigns at scale.
