Embarking upon digital transformation can be complicated and time-consuming for any company. That’s why every year, companies ranging from small businesses to major global enterprises turn to Ranosys for help with digital transformation projects, from strategy and experience design to developing apps and setting up digital commerce.

“We take pride in working with our clients and becoming part of their digital journey,” says Rameshwar Vyas, CEO, Ranosys. “As we continue to grow our global offices, we’re increasingly working with major global brands to support their digital needs.”

Ranosys teams support a diverse customer base in five geographical regions. But as the company’s global business has grown, marketers have struggled to keep all of the regional websites up to date with relevant content for all audiences. Ranosys wanted its web presence to demonstrate its digital expertise by offering consistent and compelling experiences across all global websites.

As an Adobe Gold Partner, Ranosys experts have worked with Adobe Experience Cloud applications for years to solve clients’ biggest digital challenges. By migrating its websites to Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service, Ranosys gains a flexible, powerful, and scalable platform for all of its global websites and assets.

“Migrating web platforms is a tremendous opportunity for digital transformation because we can rethink how we want to reconstruct the customer journey,” says Sushma Vyas, COO at Ranosys. “We’re using our experiences with this migration to deepen our expertise and pass on learnings with our clients.”

“While some worried that relying on templates would be a creative constraint, it has actually given teams a better understanding of what to present and how to localize content.”

Creating a single platform for all web experiences

Ranosys began its migration by preparing a strategic roadmap for how it wanted to optimize client experiences through websites. By migrating all websites to a central platform, Ranosys can encourage reuse to deliver more consistent, seamless experiences and faster time-to-market across websites. Customer journeys created for one geography could easily be copied across all websites. At the same time, Ranosys wanted to maintain flexibility to localize content and strategies for each regional audience.

Adobe Experience Manager Assets serves as a central location to store all images, assets, and editable templates used across websites. Content creators can find content more easily, allowing them to spend more time optimizing client experiences. Adobe Experience Manager Sites uses an intuitive drag-and-drop interface to enable content authors to quickly create new webpages without needing to understand coding and development.

Ranosys invested in Experience Manager certification to better understand implementation and support future client projects. With a deep knowledge under their belts, the Ranosys team migrated the corporate website from Drupal in just two months. This was followed by migrating the blog from WordPress, consolidating onto a single platform.

By adopting Adobe’s headless CMS capabilities, Ranosys has a solution that benefits both marketers and developers. The use of GraphQL APIs and Content Fragments, combined with reusable templates, enables the team to scale content creation without compromising quality and deliver consistent experiences across the customer journey through content reusability.

“Working with Adobe Experience Manager, we dramatically accelerated page creation from four days to 40 minutes,” says KC Rajput, AVP of Marketing at Ranosys. “While some worried that relying on templates would be a creative constraint, it has actually given teams a better understanding of what to present and how to localize content.”

“Localizing sites using Experience Manager leads to more inbound leads from our various territories, which is a great ROI.”

Frequent updates and improved engagement

By making it faster to find assets and create new content, marketers and other content authors now publish web pages every other day, focusing on creating more personalized content that targets clients and improves lead generation. The frequent updates and more engaging content have helped raise Ranosys’ ranking in search engines, leading to a 40% increase in organic search traffic and 40% increase in number of first-time visitors who find the company through organic search. Improving the web page hierarchy and delivering more relevant content has also decreased the bounce rate by 72%, while increasing session time for both website and app users by 30%.

“Experience Manager as a Cloud Service has delivered much better performance, leading to faster load times and improved engagement,” says Rajput. “We’re now much at better attracting website visitors, keeping them engaged, and uncovering opportunities to convert them into customers.”

The migration has also had a positive impact on operational efficiency, most notably related to localization. Web pages can be published to all five geographies with a click. Local teams can then build upon existing content, allowing Ranosys to deliver personalized content on a global scale with 51% less cost and labor.

“The majority of our revenue comes from Southeast Asia, but we are looking to expand," says Rameshwar Vyas. "Localizing sites using Experience Manager leads to more inbound leads from our various territories, which is a great ROI.”

Since the migration, Ranosys is seeing a 75% increase in goal completion with a 58% higher goal conversion rate. The cloud service deployment also means that the company can scale in an instant and stay on top of the latest features — knowledge that it can pass on to clients.

“Based on our experiences, if clients want to launch digital experiences faster, simplify asset management, and stay competitive with personalized content at scale, then Experience Manager is the application for them.”

Bringing valuable experiences to clients

Ranosys plans to continue expanding its business by tapping into growing opportunities around the world. By integrating Experience Cloud tools such as Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target, the company can gain insights into how visitors react to the website and optimize digital experiences. Adobe Marketo Engage forms are also integrated into the website to gain more information about visitors, allowing marketers to create more personalized email experiences for prospective clients.

“We would never recommend a solution to our clients unless we have confidence that it will bring strong value to them,” says Sushma Vyas. “Based on our experiences, if clients want to launch digital experiences faster, simplify asset management, and stay competitive with personalized content at scale, then Experience Manager is the application for them.”
