Digital Rights Management
Efficiently manage expiration information and asset states and reduce the risk of legal penalties from using unlicensed, unapproved or expired assets.

Take the guesswork out of digital rights management.
Digital assets often have licensing requirements that specify usage timelines and other restrictions. You have every intention of complying with those restrictions, but after a few years you can lose track of all the places that information is used. What you need is a way to track what expires and when.
Digital Rights Management (DRM) allows you to associate licensing information with your assets and ensure that they are used in the appropriate way. This reduces the financial and legal risks of accidentally using assets that are no longer approved or licensed. And because Adobe Experience Manager Assets is fully integrated with the Experience Manager platform, you’ll be able to efficiently manage all of your asset expiration information and asset states from a single interface.
See what makes it work.
Asset expiration
Enforce licence requirements for assets. Avert the possibility of licence violations by automatically removing expired assets. This saves time and potential legal ramifications.
Asset states
Use the search panel to find assets based on status to stay on top of your DRM. View and monitor asset states, then approve or reject assets. Also restrict access to content until a certain date, at which point it’s automatically released and accessible for automated publishing or unpublishing.
Use the assets console to search for expired assets and sub-assets. Monitor past and future asset expirations and set email notifications to keep you informed.
