Audiences are central to how customer experiences are delivered, so how they are built matters. Every marketing campaign, activation and personalised experience begins with an audience. Audiences help marketers understand customer behaviour, identify meaningful shifts in engagement, inform content personalisation, refine targeting and activate more relevant experiences across channels. With the launch of Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker earlier this year, Adobe introduced agentic workflows that help users work more efficiently across Adobe applications. Adobe is also enhancing Audience Builder in Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform and Adobe Journey Optimizer to make audience creation faster, easier and more intelligent.
The refreshed Audience Builder experience introduces several exciting enhancements that make it easier for marketers to find the right data, create audiences with confidence and manage complex audience logic. These updates reduce friction in the audience creation process, making Audience Builder feel even more intuitive and intelligent for marketers.
The new enhancements include the following functionality:
-
Semantic search: Marketers can search for fields by describing what they are looking for, making it easier to find relevant data without needing to know exact schema names.
-
AI-powered search relevance: Search results include a short explanation of why a field may be relevant, helping users understand the match and select fields with greater confidence.
-
Context-aware field discovery: A discovery panel surfaces fields that are eligible based on where the user is working in the schema, reducing irrelevant results and unnecessary scrolling.
-
Progressive disclosure: The canvas presents controls when they are needed and keeps them out of the way when they are not, creating a cleaner and more focused building experience.
-
Named groups: Users can name audience groups, so complex logic remains easier to read, review and maintain.
-
Favourite fields: Frequently used fields can be saved as favourites, helping teams move faster when building audiences around commonly used attributes or behaviours.
-
Undo and redo: Step back and forward through changes freely, so experimenting while building never risks losing work.
