CIOs sit at the center of their company’s transformation and innovation efforts, providing a unique horizontal view and holding great influence across the organization. These are the kinds of themes I hear among my global peers, and the kinds of conversations I’m driving at Adobe. Long gone are the days in which a CIO merely executes business needs. The best CIOs must act as clairvoyants, with the vision to not just solve complex problems but to discover challenges before they emerge.

With our horizontal view, CIOs and technology leaders are uniquely positioned to identify opportunities and gaps, broker conversations, and bring teams together to find holistic solutions to business processes. It is essential to be proactive, keeping up with emerging technology trends and proving to executive leadership how innovative tech enables the business. This approach means that CIOs not only support but also drive the strategic direction of the technology organization, making our knowledge indispensable in today’s fast-paced, evolving customer experience world.

Wednesday at Summit, Anjul Bhambhri, SVP Adobe Experience Cloud Platform engineering highlighted how the combined power of Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (CDP), Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics — enhanced by agentic AI — enables brands to quickly develop, test, and optimize customer journeys at scale.
