One destination, seven markets.

STB modernised VisitSingapore.com with Adobe Experience Manager Sites as a Cloud Service, creating a single content platform that supports its global digital presence. The redesigned site welcomes visitors with an immersive homepage autoplay video that immediately engages visitors in the Singapore experience. Streamlined navigation, interactive interest-based filters, richer storytelling and personalised itineraries make it easier for visitors to discover relevant experiences and explore Singapore in ways that match how they travel.

For solo travellers, that might mean self-guided heritage trails and social events that offer opportunities to connect with fellow explorers. Families can discover attractions such as Sentosa and Mandai Wildlife Reserve with nearby dining recommendations, while groups of friends can explore nightlife and adventure activities. By helping users find experiences and resources that address their needs, STB helps move them from browsing to booking, arriving in Singapore with an itinerary they’re genuinely excited about.

STB’s global site serves as the authoritative source for destination content, automatically distributing content updates across seven market sites through an integration with a translation vendor’s cloud platform. Now, STB can publish content once and push it out globally, with the flexibility to tailor content for individual markets.

Moving VisitSingapore.com to the cloud has also helped manage resource constraints for STB. As VisitSingapore.com evolved, managing an on-premises environment required increasing time and effort from developers, who regularly carried out security scans, applied patches and maintained the supporting infrastructure. Much of that responsibility was lifted by moving to Experience Manager Sites as a Cloud Service, allowing the team to focus more of their time on improving the user experience on the site. As a result of the migration, STB improved page performance by up to 3%, saved approximately 20 developer days of regression testing each year with automated version upgrades and cut infrastructure maintenance costs by 20%.

Adobe Professional Services led the migration from on-premises to cloud, while the Adobe Ultimate Success team provided strategic guidance and best-practise advisory support throughout the journey. Together, the teams completed the migration in four months with no disruption to site visitors. Following go-live, the Ultimate Success team has continued to partner with STB to explore additional solutions to strengthen its data foundation and prepare for emerging AI-powered capabilities.

Learning from every journey.

Every interaction on VisitSingapore.com helps STB better understand what travellers are looking for. The team can see which pages capture the attention of different audiences and how those interests vary from one market to another using Adobe Analytics. For example, STB can identify whether certain traveller segments spend more time exploring heritage districts or family attractions, helping the team better understand what inspires different visitors.

These insights also enable STB to assess how personalisation influences visitor behaviour. One example is its trip recommendations feature, which delivers relevant itineraries based on traveller archetypes such as solo explorers, groups of friends and families with children. Visitors who use the feature spend more than three times longer on the site than the average visitor, demonstrating the value of personalised content in driving deeper engagement and destination discovery.

Customised dashboards highlight where interest is growing and which content performs best in different markets. Those insights help STB decide where to focus its content and how to adapt it for local audiences.

Privacy-ready marketing.

The insights STB gains from VisitSingapore.com don’t stop at the website. As browser-based tracking becomes less reliable, the organisation has evolved its approach to audience activation.

STB uses Adobe Real-Time CDP Connections to share customer engagement data directly with advertising platforms, reducing its reliance on browser-based tracking. This gives the organisation more reliable audience insights and remarketing opportunities, while adapting to changing privacy expectations.

Looking ahead, STB is focused on keeping VisitSingapore.com relevant and effective in a quickly evolving digital and AI-driven landscape. As the official destination website, VisitSingapore.com aims to provide site visitors with a comprehensive guide of experiences tailored to their interests, while encouraging a wider exploration of Singapore’s many other offerings.
