In 2020, every business is a digital business. Satisfying the increasing expectations of B2B and B2C customers today requires large volumes of content and personalized marketing campaigns delivered at lightning speed and scale. The work must be accomplished across increasingly dispersed teams, which can make it difficult to collaborate, manage all the various tasks and plan campaigns.
Today, we’re making digital transformation easier with the completion of our acquisition of Workfront, the leading work management platform for marketers with more than 3,000 customers and one million users. Workfront has deep leadership in orchestrating marketing workflows. Workfront’s platform is agile and uniquely architected for the enterprise, with extensive integration capabilities that can be easily configured to meet the varied needs of companies of all sizes. Workfront is equipped with APIs that enable a seamless connection to Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Experience Cloud, which have become the global standard for creative workflows and customer experience management.
Together, Adobe and Workfront will provide our customers access to a single system to support planning, collaboration and governance that will unlock organizational productivity. Now marketers will not only create and deliver the best customer experiences, but also efficiently and seamlessly manage the workflows that bring these experiences to life.
Adobe and Workfront have been longstanding partners with strong product synergies and a growing base of over 1,000 joint customers. We’ve heard from many of them since the initial acquisition announcement, expressing excitement for the promise of the combined companies. Ryan Alderman, principal and US Adobe Alliance leader at Deloitte Consulting LLP, was among them and shared the following with us: “As human beings, we crave enduring experiences that connect us. And while new technologies enable us to come together in new ways not previously possible, we must not lose sight of the human experience that connects it all. Working with Adobe and Workfront as both a customer and a partner, we are creating efficiencies that build, manage and deliver content at scale to elevate the human experience and allow for more meaningful connections that foster loyalty and ultimately drive growth.”
Adobe is leading the charge in digital transformation, and with Workfront, we’re further accelerating this vision.
Workfront CEO Alex Shootman will join my team and continue to lead the Workfront efforts. Read more from Alex on what the acquisition means for our customers.
On behalf of all Adobe employees: welcome, Workfront!
