Important Announcement about Magento Go and ProStores

Today, we're announcing that we will be transitioning our Magento Go and ProStores merchants off of these products by February 1, 2015.

Merchant stores will not be affected during the Holiday shopping season—they will continue to operate and perform normally and Magento will continue to provide Customer Service until February 1, 2015.

As a business, we are focusing on our flagship products, Magento Enterprise Edition and Magento Community Edition, as well as developing the next generation of our platform, Magento 2. Our range of solutions gives us the power, flexibility, and features to serve businesses of all sizes, from small and medium businesses, to enterprises with hundreds of millions in online sales. This will allow our fast growing merchants to prosper in the evolving eCommerce landscape.

Magento Go and ProStores customers can take advantage of the checklists, planning resources, and special offers found in our Migration Center, enabling a smooth transition to a new eCommerce solution:

Magento Go Migration Center

For Magento Go and ProStores merchants who aren’t the right fit for Magento Enterprise Edition or Magento Community Edition, we are working with Bigcommerce to provide subscription-based SaaS plans similar to what these merchants are used to. Merchants can also choose to migrate to other eCommerce providers.

Over the years, we've had the opportunity to work with thousands of Magento Go and ProStores merchants and are fortunate to be a part of so many success stories. We look forward to their continued success.
