Adobe Experience Manager Assets Features
Asset management and governance
Monitor and control the use of assets across your organization to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and digital rights requirements. Improve time-to-market by automating content and asset handoffs across your content creation workflows.
Digital asset management
Set up permissions for all user roles to ensure the right users have access to the right assets. Users can see when assets expire, and additional rules can be established to restrict access until assets are approved to go live.
- Secure delivery. Manage access to specific assets and determine when they can be accessed or searched for. This ensures that assets are published at the right time and inaccessible if they have expired.
- Granular permissions. Control user and team permissions at the asset level, folder level, or by license type.

Asset governance
Protect brand integrity, enforce license requirements, and avoid potential legal issues from using unlicensed, unapproved, or expired assets.
- Digital rights management. Use watermarking, content credentials, and legal compliance workflows to prevent violations and legal consequences that could result from using incorrect content.
- Asset expiration. Set up automatic removal of expired assets from the DAM, so they’re no longer discoverable or usable.
- Asset status. View, search, and monitor the status of assets and approve or reject their status. DAM admins can also limit access to content until a specified date for release and availability for automated publishing or unpublishing.
