Scale breeds complexity. With a team of three, getting work done is simple. People have been working effectively together in small groups since the days of hunting mastodons, but problems arise once you have a team of 10 or 100 or more. Communication become disjointed and chaotic. Knowing who is overloaded or idle becomes challenging, and reviewing work with stakeholders is an endless game of back-and-forth emails. This scale requires a new conception of workflow. Join Joel Caracci, head of creative operations at JLL, to learn how he approaches workflow for a team of 90 designers and how you can apply these ideas for medium and large design teams.
